Blessings

October 21, 2013: Wow, so much has happened this past week i don't know where to begin. But it sounds like you all are having a fun time back home. I can't believe that anna-marie broke the car, figures she would, oh well what can you do with blonde girls. well to start off i will answer moms questions because she doesn't want me to forget to answer them. So things are going well, Elder Greenlaw is pretty cool, we have been getting along pretty well. He has been out for one transfer longer than me but i am 2 months older than him, my first companion that i am older than. So Elder Greenlaw is from Utah, go figure, he is big into dirt biking and likes to have fun but work hard at the same time, so ya do get along pretty good. We have set up a hope on our front room and play quite a bit of basketball, or nerf ball i guess. Well as for biking we haven't been doing as much. With elder Madden he like to go to an area that was pretty far away so we would be biking about 20 miles a day but know we stay close and just go around and talk to everyone that we see. This past week we have worked our tails off and have literally been talking to everyone and things have been happening. We have gotten quite a few new investigators and have been getting the ward excited about missionary work. One cool experience that we had was on thursday. We had been working hard all day and just nothing was happening. Then that night we had trade offs with a member in the ward, and we were going to just go and try to see some less actives with him because we didn't really have anything else to do. So when he picked us up I had forgotten to grab my GPS with all the addresses on it, so instead we decided to go and try to see a potential that we had. And of course when we got there she wasn't home. So instead we decided to knock some doors in that area with this member that came out with us and boy did we receive blessing after blessing that night. We were able to set up 4 return appointments and get a couple referrals, and from that we got two new investigators, and the member just loved it and got stoked to do missionary work. It just showed me that the Lord will put you where he wants you to be to find those that are ready to receive the gospel, even if you had planned to go some where else he will find a way to change your plans. I just thought that was pretty cool. So as you can see things are going pretty great here. Now for your next question mom we have been having a lot of clouds and not much sun, even though it is still really hot. But i have learned that i can get a pretty nice tan, I just loose it really really fast. But oh well. And of course mom i would always love to receive a package from you. One thing that i do need is a ipod or mp3, maybe you could bug clifton about getting me one, and a lot of music. As for cravings i have been having a sweet tooth for Chinese food, but i don't think that you can send that though, oh well. But anything junk food wise sounds good. One more thing, on november 3rd or so we are planning an activity going deep sea fishing which is an 8 hour trip (yes we do have permission) but the down side is it cost $80, i am going to try and use most of my pros. card money but anything that you might be able to give would help. Now for cool stories. This one anna-marie might get a kick out of. So yesterday for lunch we had macaroni and sandwiches, and we did what anna-marie and i use to do, we made each other sandwiches and needless to say they were nasty. We made video of it and i will send it to you latter. But our time has been cut short and i got to get going. I will write more about it next week. and send lots and lots of pictures of st. augustine and the fort we saw today. Love you all.

"Power Hour"

October 15, 2013: Sounds like my little family back home has been having a lot of fun and a lot of things are going on. I am just assuming that by the time i come home is 2 years that you will still be fixing things and unpacking or maybe you will just have finished right before i get there. Oh and mom have fun repacking all my things if you are going to do that. I have a lot so it should be fun for you, just DON'T let the girls get into or take any of my stuff, i know how they are . And as for the girls having enough room for stuff, they have to much stuff in the first place (way, way to many clothes) so they just need to get ride of some things, and that would solve the problem. Oh and mom i read your talk and it was really good. So from the sounds or it, it sound like you are going to be more friendly to the missionaries and FEED them, maybe . And Dad wow you already have a calling and it's in the high priest, not bad, oh and i have to say i have meet quite a few people out here that are your age but you seem 10 years younger then them, they all look old. But who knows, with all this moving and living in a full house, those gray hairs might over take your head!!!! So mom have you got a calling yet or are they going to make you the relief society president here in a bit? Oh and answer to moms question, when i called my companion a ginger that means he is a red head. So as far as my week has gone it has been pretty good. On tuesday we had zone meeting which was really good, might have been the best one since i have been here. And President Craig was even there. At one point during it we were talking to him and he told Elder Madden and i that Elder Madden would be getting transferred, so we had a little early notice than most did. Also at zone meeting they mainly talked about two things one was "Golden Hour" which i changed the name of it to "Power Hour" just because I like the sound of it better but really what it is all about is that you set aside an hour each day for just finding and nothing else, whether it is tracting or walking though a parking lot talking to everyone or what ever ideas that we have, we can even be creative with it so hey if you have any ideas for me that would be great, because tracting really doesn't do much, people just get annoyed with up because it is like the 10th time missionaries have knocked on there door. The other thing that they focused on at zone meeting was a new lesson that they want us to start doing with members out here. It's from the "Power of the Everyday Missionary" (that book you sent me a while ago) And the lesson is mainly about setting goals for how many invites that you can do in a two week period, whether you get no's or yes's. So far this week we have done this lesson with 3 families in this ward, including the ward mission leader. But one cool story about it is that with one family we did this lesson with, it was a dad, mom, 14 year old daughter, and a 6 year old daughter. Most of they didn't think that they could get a lot and set goals for 4 and 5 invites, but then the 6 year old, who understood perfectly what we were talking about (by the way she has already read the Book of Mormon) set the bar high for her family and said that she could invite 20 people. The amazing thing about little kids is that they have no fears. So that's how the first part of our week went. Then on Thursday we had district meeting and at the time there was only 3 companionships in it because the 4th one of the sister went home. That sister was actually one that came out with me. Funny thing is, out of the 26 missionaries that came out with me, a lot of them have are gone now. 6 or 7 of them went home for what ever reason, 1 or 2 are now in another mission when they split boundaries and 1 is in brazil while 2 more are waiting to go. So needless to say our group is dwindling down fast for some reason. But oh well. But on the brighter side of things the ward here is pretty awesome. The feed us pretty well, even though the sisters get feed more. But we do get quite a few meals. Our ward mission leader feed us on friday and we had steak and twice baked patatos. The steak was probably the best i have ever had and it was HUGE. It filled me fast which doesn't happen that often. Then last night another family feed up, who feeds us every monday, but last night we had shrimp and grits, and it was the second time i have had grits out here. The first time i did not like it at all but this time they made it really good. Oh an i have found out that i am in LOVE with shrimp, no matter how it is made it is soooo good. Alright so last night we had our transfer conference call to see where everyone was going. So as i said Elder Madden is leaving, he is heading over to Lake Butler. And i am staying here and my new companion is Elder Greenlaw. I don't know anything about him except he came out the transfer before me, so it will be fun. I guess the Brethren or Church leaders said that they want missionaries to start staying together longer and in the same area from around 6 to 9 months, so we will see how that all goes. Well i think that's about it. Man did i write a lot, i guess that just means i don't have to really write much next week. Love you all so much!!! Elder Jeremy Johnson DADDY How is my daddy doing. Sounds like he is having a lot of fun with out me in a full house. Something that i forgot to say in my letter to everyone is that we have been biking a lot. So since i have gotten to Fleming Island we have put on about a little over 600 miles. Crazy ya i know. My back tire is so warn down and finally yesterday i got a stick in it and it went flat. turns out there was more than one hole in it. So today i got a new tube, and switched the tires so the more worn down one is in front and when my other tire gets worn down also i will have to get new tread, but i'm putting it off for as long as i can. Other than that things are going pretty good. So i just heard that caleb is opening up a new area and training at the same time. Sounds like he is doing good. well thats about it. Love ya dad Jeremy

Awesome Lesson

October 7, 2013: Well sounds like you all are having a lot of fun in the house painting. Anna-marie had the right idea and always had some where to be it sounds like. And hey dad didn't write me this week. Whats up with that. Oh well i guess mom can love me more than Dad every now and then. Well as for my week it has been pretty good. It did go by way way to fast but thats alright. On tuesday we had trade offs with the district leader so i was in st. johns and then on wendesday we had trade offs with the zone leaders and i went to St. Augustine for the day so i have hardly been in my area this week. But when i was in St. Augustine we had a pretty awesome lesson with one of their families that they are teaching. It was way powerful. Both of us afterwards said that it was the most powerful lesson that either of us have ever had. Then we i got back to Fleming Island we went out and found two new investigators who are pretty cool. And then to end the week we had general conference. So i have to say we were busy the whole week. General Conference was way good. It was the first time that i ever really looked forward to listening and the time during it flew by instead of dragging on and on. I don't know if i have a favorite they were all pretty good. But we did miss the morning session on saturday because we were helping a family move but we did get to see the rest of it. But i really can't pick out a favorite though. It was interesting that Elder Holland talked about Depression, because i guess a lot of people including missionaries are suffering from it. Oh and the priesthood session was pretty good to. So now for some interesting news. Now for some exciting news, Ben just told me that he is planning on serving a mission. He is working on the paper work right now. He says he wants to leave in January around his birthday time. So that will be pretty exciting for him. well i think thats about it we are going to go play tennis dodgeball as a district today which should be fun. You take rackets and tennis balls and you can only touch the balls with the racket and you have to hit people. You get some pretty good bruises. Well i love you all. Have fun painting. Who's Jealous???

September 30, 2013 Mommy, Daddy, Everyone else, How are things going? It sounds like you all are still having lots and lots of fun with the house. Maybe some day it will finally be finished, and you will get to enjoy it for a little while. So i have to say i am a little jealous of you. You will actually have a Fall, Winter, and Spring. Right now since we are in the middle of Fall it doesn't feel like it. Temperatures are up is the 80's sometime they might hit the 90's and the humidity is still a killer. Especially with all we have been biking the sweet is awe full. Normally it will rain at least once a day and it comes and goes fast. But this past week is has been cloudy the whole time and rainy. But not as much as you all from what i hear it is pretty bad over there. Since i'm from Washington and my companions is from Portland Oregon people like to tell us all that is going on over there. And there are quite a few that have lived in spokane years and years ago or served there missions there. I have already meet 3 in our ward that have served there mission in Spokane, they we all back in the 80's though. Our week hasn't been to bad we have been out a lot and doing a lot of biking and talking to people. This week i went to St. Johns for trade offs with the district leader and there ward was way big 250 people, compared to what i'm use to of less than 100 people. But hey out ward here is still full of some way cool people. We don't talk to our ward mission leader much but he works with the sisters a lot. But the ward i think likes us better because we seem to get feed more, and boy o boy do they feed you good down here. We don't have any solid investigators down here but we do have some really nice ones. All of them love to have us over just they won't commit right now. One of them is pretty cool. His name is Rocky and he and his dad fix up antic cars from scratch and they do a really good job to. Which reminds me i was able to get permission and check out the blog that you have done for me. It was pretty cool. But a little not updated, like the address you have one there. Other than that i really liked it. Mom you are getting good with blogs. Oh and so this week is going to be kinda interesting because we have two trade offs that we are going on. One for another one with the district leader. And then the Zone leaders want to go on a full 24 hr trade off for some reason. Usually they might once every couple months go on a short exchange but they only go on full 24 hr ones with the district leader. So we can't figure out why they want to do it with us. I told Elder Madden it's because they are going to see if he is Zone leader material since we will be getting at least two new zone leaders at this up coming transfer, but he doesn't like that idea. And hey mom i like you idea for general conference i think hopefully that will work and bring all the family together. For us general conference won't be broadcast to the building here because there don't have satellite or what ever it is you need. And we can't go to the stake center because it's to far so we have to go to members homes to watch it. And it is going to be weird to watch it out here because in Washington the time is one hour earlier but here is is two hours later, a three hour difference than what i'm use to. So the time are at 12, 4, and the priesthood session is at 8 and doesn't get over till 10 which is going to be really interesting. And it's cool home the priesthood session will be broadcast everywhere. And as for your questions mom my knees are doing better, they only hurt every once in a while, but i think that our family is all connected some how because i am starting to get sick to. I have had a cough and headaches every now and then. So how are you all doing? Any cool stories to tell? Has anyone found a job yet or have you just not started looking yet? Oh and hey if you ever feel like it any one of you, i would love to have some music whether on a ipod/mp3 or a cd. You should tell anna-marie and jared that. Oh and you never did send me a picture of the car what's up with that? Love you all. Elder Jeremy Johnson

Biking in the Rain

September 23, 2013 WOW, This past week went by so fast i feel that i just was writting an email to you yesterday not a week ago. Time flies by so fast while you are out here. Well nothing very interesting has happened this week. It has been raining a lot and we have been biking a lot, so you can just imagine how things are going. This morning since my companion like to have a clean apartment and the apartment was pretty bad before i got here we did some more cleaning. P-days are kinda boring now since we don't have a car to drive around with and everything is so far away from our apartment we don't feel like biking and there's not much in fleming island to in the first place. So all we do is emails and shopping. As far as our teaching goes we are having a rough time finding new investigators. We have been seeing a lot of less actives but that is about it. The ward here is pretty nice. It's a smaller ward, yet still bigger than my last area, they even have a fairly decent youth group. The ward missionary leader here however doesn't like the elders very much, but just loves and adores the sisters, so that kinda makes things interesting at times. Other than that not much else has happened. Love ya. Elder Jeremy Johnson

Baptism

Sushi? "YUM"

September 16, 2013 My Family, How are things going? It looks like you have been having a lot of fun with the house and trying to get everything clean. I can't believe that you actually moved. It's weird to think that i will one day go home to Enuclaw and not Spokane. Oh in the ward here there are quite a few people that have been to Spokane, 2 or 3 of them actually served their missions there. This area here is pretty nice we haven't seen any alligators here but do get a lot of lightening. Mom the way that you capture the picture is to film the lightening and then go back and pause the camera where the lightening is and make is a picture. Thats what we did. My new companion Elder Madden is pretty cool. He is from Portland Oregon, and is a ginger . But he's not to bad. We will continue to be on bike for the rest of the transfer maybe even longer. We go around 20 miles a day. It really is a work out. My knees are getting better. Not hurting as much, and my bike is holding up now after the work we had to do on it. The disc brakes from time to time act up, but nothing to bad. We have a pretty nice apartment, especially after all the cleaning we have done. It was in pretty bad shape but now isn't to bad. Our P-days out here aren't that exciting. Since we are on our bikes we don't want to bike that far to do something so we just relax, do some shopping and write emails. We now don't have a time restriction on how long we have to write emails. Oh and Mom as for St. Augustine, It's not in our area but in our zone. We go there for zone meeting, but i do want to go there some time and look around. Now as for the week. It has been going pretty well. We have been doing a lot of biking because our area is so spread out, but we do try and see people. We are not having much luck on getting new investigators but that is going to change this week. That is what we will be focusing on. Right now we do have a couple but they are not really progressing right now. Just yesterday we had a baptism, my first baptism out here. His name is Rick. He is engaged to the bishops daughter and they are getting married in December. The members out here are not really into missionary work but they do love us. They have us over for dinner all the time. There was only one day this past week that we had dinner at our apartment. Some nights we even had two dinners which is actually hard out here with how much they feed you. But the nice thing is they will usually give us a ride home afterward so we don't have to bike on a full stomach. Oh and even one day after Ricks baptismal interview he and Sara (bishops daughter) they took us our for sushi. First time i have ever had sushi, it was cooked by the way. Other whys i probably wouldn't touch it. It was actually pretty good. Then again everything that i have eaten since i have been out here has been good. The mission itself out here is going pretty good there are issues here and there and for some reason even though i'm not a leader or anything like that i know everything that is going on. With the mission and will missionaries in general. Right now there are over 200 missionaries and there are even more on the way. Lots and lots of Sisters. Soon there will be more sisters than elders. Well thats about it mom and dad i hope you enjoyed the pics that i sent. And i am going to start sending these letters to the whole family so just maybe they will write me some time. Cough cough (Laura) Cough. Oh and can i get Laura's email, maybe if i email her she will respond. Tell her is doesn't have to be perfect. Well i love you all. Jeremy

Getting Current

Message from Sonja (Mom); Forgive me for being behind on the updating of Elder Jeremy's emails and pictures. A month or two ago I started having difficulties composing the Blog, it is having some glitches. Have not been able to resolve it yet, a little frustrating. Also a major move across the state, has taken time up my time. But I am back and doing my best, to get current. Thanks, and hope you enjoy the updates. Remember he would love to hear from you all.

Bike Challenges

September 9, 2013 Wow, So a lot has happened for you guy this past couple weeks. You have really been busy. The pictures that you sent look pretty good. I like Jared's pirates flag, it adds a nice touch to the house. When all is said and done and you finish all the cleaning and painting and unpacking you need to send me pictures of all the house and all the outside. Oh and on a side note before i forget i have to get some bike parts and have some bike work done today on my bike so i have to use my home card. I already we to walmart and got the parts. now we will be going to the bike shop and having the work done. So this past week has been really interesting. I am now in my new area here in fleming island the address is (2285 Marsh Hawk Lane 3-305 Fleming Island 32003 FL). When i got here the apartment was in really bad shape. It was a 4 man apartment but they moved them out because the church doesn't want any four man apartments anymore. So we have been doing a lot of cleaning because it wasn't in the greatest shape. Its in a really nice complex and there are nice people here. They just had a Luau a couple days ago for all the recidents here. We weren't able to make it but came back when it was ending. We will actually be moving out of our apartment into another one here in the same complex because this one i guess is to big for us now. My new companion is Elder Madden he seems pretty cool. We have been really working hard these past couple of days. This use to be a car share area with two sets of missionaries but we just got a set of sisters here in our ward, so they took the car and we are now a full bike area. So we have been riding our bikes like crazy, and really getting a work out. My knees are starting to act up and hurting. But i think its because the bike it being dumb and i am having to push hard with it right now. But hopefully my knees will get better after i get the bike fixed. I think i have just been putting to much strain on them right now. The members out here are really nice, I have only been able to meet a couple of them and have dinner at their house but they seem pretty nice. Yesterday we had stake conference also and the presidency was changes so we had some general authorities there. So i have now been to two stake conferences in a month, since in my last area we had one also. We actually have an investigator here named rick that will be getting baptized on sunday we will be meeting with him tonight. He is marrying one of the bishops daughters. Other than that not much else has happened. It rains at least once a day here. But it comes and goes really fast. Just the other night we had a crazy lightening storm and we had to stay at a members for 3 hours because we are on bike and they don't want us going out during lightening storms, since this is the lightening capital of the country and so many people get hit. But i did get some good pictures though. I will have to send them to you some time. Well i have to get going but i love you all, and try not to have to much fun cleaning without me. Love Elder Jeremy Johnson

Transfer-Fleming Island

September 3, 2013 First off, Dad and Laura i am so sorry for forgetting that your birthdays were last week. I remembered during the week but forgot when i was writting the letter. So it soundslike moving is going good. Dad i guess you just like to get down and get dirty. And wow that cool that Gabby showed up to help you move. I thought she was in tri-cities. So how did the rest of the move go? From the sound of it, when all is said and done you all will be taking a full day of sleep to recuperate. So as for life here in Florida, it has been really interesting. This past week we have worked harder than we ever have. Elder Craynor said that was the hardest he has ever worked for a whole week since he has been out. This past week was the end of the month and we were running out of miles so we were on bikes quite a bit. And we did a lot of service. On Thursday we helped a family move from one house to another. We were told that the elders quorum would be doing all the big stuff on friday but they still wanted us to help a little on thursday. So we showed up in our shirts and ties thinking that we wouldn't be doing that much but boy were we wrong. We did all i mean all of the big and heavy stuff in out shirts and ties. and it was a really hot day. This week was the hottest it has been all year. So when we were finished with the move we got into our car but wouldn't start. All there was, was a click. So the bishop came and gave us a jump, but still didn't work. So we got on bikes for a couple hours and meet us with the bishop later and charged the car for 20 mins. and finally it started. Then friday was a day of service also. We helped this one couple who lived in a trailor clean it and man that was horrible. I have never seen so many cockroaches in my live. There were millions and millions of them, and i'm not joking about that. It was really bad, you would pick up a dvd or a book and shake it and out would fall 40 to 50 roaches. So we helped them clean for 1 1/2 hours and then we had another service project to get to. So though out this whole week we were also knocking on a lot of doors and talking to a lot of people. We even meet a Jehovah witness who was actually interested in what we had to say. But most of the people that we ran into even less-active we find out are going the the Journey Church out here. This place is huge and is pretty much like the great and spacious building. But in the end we did a lot of work and worked our little hinnys off, and if you look at the numbers it look like we did nothing. We taught only 6 lessons this past week and 4 of them were members. It has just been a really rough past couple weeks. We are just waiting for the blessing to start to come. They probably won't happen until Elder Craynor get his new trainee. And that will be tomorrow. I will be getting transfered to Flemming Island In Jacksonville tomorrow. Sad to go but it will be good. Oh also yesterday morning to only make matters worse when we got out to our car in the morning it was dead, same problem as before. The battery is brand new so it is probably a problem with the alternator or the started, so we biked all day again. Then this morning a tow truck picked the car up and took it to the shop. And when we were getting ready to head out on bike to come do emails, Elder craynor had a flat tire and in the process of fixing it it just got worse. The allinment is off and the brakes are messed up now. So a member picked us up and we took the bike to the shop. So we have really been having a lot of fun. On the bright side im leaving right when the car starts acting up. Anyway thats about it for me. Hope you all are having fun and i look forward to hear about all the interesting stories that you are having. Love you all. Elder Jeremy Johnson

August 2013

August 26, 2013 Family, So i guess since you didn't write me it means that you are busy with the move. I hope all of it is going well and everyone is in a good mood. So not very much has happened this week. On Tuesday we had Zone Conference which went pretty well. President Craig is a pretty good man, and he keep you awake when he talks. Most of the meeting was spent talking about different part of the book that we have been reading, the one that you sent me. I finished it last week and it was really good. They want us to get the ward more involved in missionary work by the ways that it talks about in the book. Then the rest of our week was spent talking to people. One of our investigators Mike Hursey loves to have us over. The missionaries have been teaching him for a while and about a year ago they stopped but we just started teaching him again and he is a really nice guy. He is a true discription of deep southern people, and when ever we come over he always feeds us. Another inverstigator that we have is Charles Spinks. His wife was a media referal and we contacted her about 2 months ago but she didn't want anything to do with us. But about two weeks ago we decided to stop by again out of the blue and we talked to her husband Charles who was really interested and he has just barely started to get back into the religious side of things. And then there are a couple of others that we are teaching but for the most part right now we are going around knocking on doors, and riding out bikes alot because its at the end of the months and we are running out of miles. But when we have been going around talking to people we are coming across alot that are going to a Journey Church out here and it is growning fast. Now if i were to describe it to you in the end it would be just like the "Great and Spacious Building" in Lehi's dream. This church his huge and it does almost everythings but teach about religion. They have raffles, The kids play video games while the parents go to class. The Preacher pops out of a coffin during the services, and they have a Coffee shop in it. And the sad thing is so many people are going to it, even less-actives. So on the positive side of things we have been doing alot of service lately. This past week we help tear up carpet and put flooring in, and then some other things. And this week we have four service project going on. Tonight we are helping clean a home, and from what we hear it is in the worst shape you can imagine. So that will deffinently be interesting. Oh and so this past week i have been giving Elder Craynor a hard time telling him that he is going to be training, just joking around. But sure enough on saturday night he got a call to be a trainer, so next week i will be leaving this area and heading some where new. Don't know where yet but it'll be fun. Oh and one last thing. I will be needing to get a side bag, because they don't want us to have backpacks anymore. And i don't want a really big one. Just one to hold some pamphlets and an ipad(when we get them) or just a book of mormon. So i will probably look around here but it will probably be a while before i get one. So if you want to make sure i have enough money that would be great. And hey if you find a good one. You could send it to me. Well Thats about it, I love you all so much. Elder Jeremy Johnson

Family Update

Yes, the Johnny and Sonja Family moved to the rainy side of the state of Washington. And we are loving it. But we do miss all our friends from all of the Spokane area. We would have loved to say good-bye to everyone individually, but it was a quick move. Sooner than we had expected. It was a whirlwind of a move. The people here have been great, very welcoming. We now live about an hour south of Seattle, on the bench hills of the Cascades. We live on the outskirts of Enumclaw, WA, which I have learned means "Thunder and Lightening". Mt. Rainier is 39 miles away. Cool!!! Our new address is: 28625 SE 435th St., Enumclaw, WA, 98022 Jared, Laura, Anna-Marie, Grandma Marie, and us live all together again. But we miss Clifton (he now is a Uthan, and Elder Jeremy is serving the Lord.

My Family is Moving

August 19, 1013 WOW, It officially is final. You are actually moving. That is so sad and so crazy. And it sounds like things are happening fast. But hey at least you have Laura and Anna-Marie to help you for the time. But man i am sure going to miss Spokane when i get home. I guess that just means i will have to borrow Dads new BMW at the time to go and visit all my friends there. But hey i'm excited for you it will be good and alot of fun. Now lets see Dad you are talking about sending things on an MP3. Music and talks would be amazing for it. But im not sure about letters from you on it. Cause they don't want us to have head phones in our ears because you are suppose to be unified with you companion or somethings and what ever you listen to he does. So i say it would be nicer if you could type it or write it and send it. And the songs that you have emailed me i can get but i have nothing to put them on. Oh and yes Mommy i did get the package and i loved it. The food was so good. Most of it is gone now, But i guess thats what happens to food. And it pictures were awesome. It looks like you all have a lot of fun without me on that trip. But i didn't see any pictures of rafting. So as for me here, everything is going good. Things are slow but fast. The time flys by so fast it's crazy. We are out everyday talking to a lot of people. But we don't get to teach very many lessons. We do have a couple investigators that are doing good. None a a baptismal date but they will soon. This week i went on two trade offs. One with the zone leaders and another with another misionary, Since my companion is a district leader we go on a lot of them. And for some reason everyone opens up to me. Which i thing is kinda cool that they trust me. So all that happened and then this weekend we had Stake Conference and Elder Corbridge from the 70 was there. We were planning on going to the adult session on saturday but got caught up helping a lady move for 4 hours. It was suppose to be all the elders quorum there but it was just us and the elders quorum president and we missed the adult session but that was alright because that is where we were needed at the time. Then yesterday we went to conference and it was really good. But apparently the adult session was amazing. Oh and earlier this week i was talking to President Craig and he told me that he will be opening up two new zones with all these missionaries coming in. Crazy whats going on. Well thats about it. I will probably remember others stuff later in the day but thats just how it works. Anyway i Love you all so much and have fun with the move. Love Jeremy

Can't get enough!

August 12, 2013Well i'm not sure where to begin you wrote me so much. But i'll answer your questions. So i do not have a mp3 player but if you would like to send me one that would be amazing. And i mom prince of egypt is okay but im not sure why disney isn't, they just like to make a bunch of rules. Na it's all good. They reason i haven't sent many pics is because we have been running out of time with emails fast. They is so many people to write or maybe i just write alot or im a slow writter. But i will send you some soon. And yes i have seen the shrimp everywhere just haven't taken a picture with it yet. I will soon though. So the 40 day fast hasn't started yet but i will let you know when it does. But hey the facebook 30 days of pure testimony that i told you about earlier is really taking a big hit in the church alot of success is going from it everywhere. And my companion was one of the two that started it. And wow Ashley got here mission call here. WOW thats crazy. Two of us down here is going to be awesome. I have talked to her once or twice but i never became good friends with her. But still though its crazy. You should find out for me when it is that she is leaving please. So sounds like you will be moving soon that will be interesting. And thanks for the pictures i got them two days ago and i really like them, and im looking forward to getting the package. hopefully it comes today. So you say Laura gets bored and makes cookies maybe just maybe instead she can sit down and write me a letter just once. I would really love that. Oh and yes dad i can have CD's, we do have a cd player and also the player in the car. So i would love to gets talks and music from you. Its crazy when i think of how i have changed since i have been out here. It just all hit me this week. So back home i really wasn't into missionary work at all. I avoided any chance that presented itself. But now i am in love with it and look forward to each new day. Also back home i really didn't care about general conference and listening to talks and reading the ensign. But now i love it and i can't get enough. I think we listen to a talk at night at least once a day. Sometimes it carries on into the next day. Well as for my week it went alright, we have our ups and downs out here and this week was a little slow here for the sisters and us. But is was good we talked to alot of people but just didn't have that many lessons. We did have a Luau on saterday. A big hawaian cook out at the church. A while ago when elder largo was here he taught me the hauka and in return i taught the young men and he taught the young women. And at the Luau we preformed it for the ward. I got a video of it that i might share. Oh one last thing that book you sent my earlier. You should really read it. It is a really good book and has some amazing stories there. Well i do got to get going i love talking to you each and every week. Hope all goes well with everything. Love ya soooooo much. Elder Johnson
